Puregold’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives through the Luis Co Chi Kiat Foundation have provided scholarship grants to fi nancially challenged students. This program has produced 1,099 graduates — 484 with honors and 220 who have passed professional licensure examinations, including teachers, engineers, accountants, lawyers, and physicians. As 67 we engage our benefi ciaries with social upliftment, we continue to support hundreds of scholars, embodying the company’s social responsibility in promoting education.
Moreover, the foundation has provided quarterly assistance to the Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and other Special Cases (GRACES), a home for the aged. Since 2018, Puregold has provided food, medicine, and hygiene supplies to residents, strengthening its commitment to the welfare of vulnerable sectors.
