Last May 30, 2012, a fire broke out at a residential area in Brgy. Singkamas,Makati City. The fire razed at least 200 houses and killed 4 people. The victims were temporarily sheltered at Brgy.Carmona Sports Complex, Makati City.
 

It is in this light that Puregold Makati and its employees extended help to these homeless families. Grocery food items were distributed and good hearted Puregold Makati employees donated clothes for the victims as well.
 

The fire victims were very happy and thankful for the help that was extended to them. Through this simple effort, Puregold was able to show the residents of Makati that more than just a supermarket, Puregold cares.
