In celebration of its 25th year anniversary, TV Patrol, one of the leading news program in the country today partnered with Puregold and recently launched a yearlong public service campaign, the “Beinte Singko Para sa Kabayan Ko”. Harping on the relevance of beinte singko today, this project encourages everyone to do their share by sparing 25 cents to help 25 families that were ravaged and affected by calamities in the past 25 years. Customized TV Patrol Alkansya/coin banks will be deployed in over 100 Puregold stores. This public service effort is aiming to raise 2.5 million to be given to the 25 beneficiaries that will be chosen by TV Patrol all over the country.
Puregold and TV Patrol are the same in its pursuit in helping Filipino people in any way possible. On top of the financial help that will be granted to the 25 chosen beneficiaries through the coin banks, Puregold will also award them with a Sari- sari store showcase to help them start their own business.
The project was launched in 3 different venues and was graced by Puregold and TV Patrol/ABS CBN executives. It was launched in Puregold North Commonwealth last June 7 with Mr.Ted Failon and Puregold President Mr. Leonardo Dayao, June 11 at Puregold Taguig with Kabayan Noli de Castro, Ms. Tina Monzon Palma and Puregold Chairman Mr. Lucio Co and in Puregold Cubao last June 12 with Ms. Korina Sanchez and Puregold Vice President Ms. Nicy Carolino. It was also simultaneously launched in Puregold Batangas and Puregold Naga.
